‘Why should I get tested for HIV?’

If you are a man who has sex with men, you are at particular risk from HIV. The earlier HIV is diagnosed, the better the treatment options and the longer your life expectancy. This is because the infection will have done less damage to your immune system

If you have put yourself at risk and have symptoms such as a fever, rash, mouth ulcers, joint and muscle pain, weight loss, tiredness or chronic diarrhoea, these can be associated with HIV.
